My name is Sahar Bayat. Sahar means early morning, when a new day is dawning; the dawn when I’m no longer imprisoned, the dawn when mountain passengers admire the flowers in which warriors have lied under. That’s why I’ve chosen the name “Mattina”.
It's almost a decade that drawing has intertwined with my life, not as a job or leisure, but as living itself. I look around not merely to behold, but to create: in my surroundings, I witness elaborations that are not observable before the watching eyes, and I create in my mind what I don’t see around. I am the omnific of my own world, which is depleted without elaborations.
